Citizen initiative: @mjamercado just came from evacuation centers and here’s an update on needs. NGO’s say they are enough clothes already, and they are in need of the following:

Sleeping mats
Diapers
Underwear for the ladies

Food (ready to eat)

1. Ready to eat/easy to prepare food items such as biscuits, canned goods, bread, noodles in cups, bottled water, milk, 3 in 1 coffee sachets, etc.

2. Eating utensils such as paper plates, paper cups, & spoons (hopefully reusable);

3. Anything for kids such as toys, coloring books, crayons, games, notebooks, pens, etc. (to keep them occupied);

4. Toiletries & hygiene kits: soap, shampoo, underwear, sanitary napkins, toothbrushes, toothpaste, underwear;

5. Medicines for common illnesses;

6. Towels, blankets, CLEAN & USABLE clothes, etc.
